🏴☠️⚙️HELP SEND NAPOLEON ROBOTICS TO WORLDS!🏴☠️⚙️
Napoleon Robotics team 40684D "Griffilicious" is heading to VEX Robotics WORLD Championship in Missouri at the end of April! 🤖⚙️
Team members Cade Rugg, Drew Norman, Nolan Callahan, Devin Fry, and Griffin Keith are gearing up for the big competition and putting in the work to represent Napoleon with pride.
📹 JTV and The Exponent recently stopped by to interview the team about their exciting upcoming event and their goals for the season. The team shared their strategy, preparation, and how they’re planning to take things even further — all the way to Worlds! 🌎🏆
If you would like to help send the Pirates to the World Competition, please consider donating using the QR code below. Every contribution makes a difference, and 100% of the funds go directly to the Robotics Program to support the team and their competition expenses.
The whole community is cheering for them as they head into this next challenge. Good luck to the team — we can’t wait to see what you accomplish! 💪🤖🏴☠️

🏴☠️🏴☠️NCS Staff was hard at work on Monday March 9th during Professional Development.🏴☠️🏴☠️
"Anchored in Safety: Protecting our Pirate Crew" was the theme of the day.
The goal of the day: To understand that Napoleon is prepared and ready. We have the process, the tools, the assigned roles, and partnerships for emergencies. Staff learned systems, procedures, routines, and strategies to keep our District safe.
Stacey Voskuil from the National Association of School Resource Officers spoke about BTAM (Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management), school violence prevention, and the importance of positive school climate.
Officer Tom Freeman, NCS School Resource officer, presented on active shooter situations.
Staff also completed Stop the Bleed training from HFHS, Reunification Table Top Exercise, and simulated active shooter exercises.
Preparation is essential. At Napoleon Community Schools, we are committed to doing our best to be prepared for any and all situations.

Way to Go!!!

Pirates are getting hands-on with the Fork Farms Flex Farm Program, a portable vertical hydroponic growing system that allows fresh food to be grown right inside the school.
Through this innovative technology, students are learning the science behind growing food, exploring STEM concepts, and understanding the importance of nutrition and sustainability.
Last week was Transplant Day! Young plants were moved into the Flex Farm where they’ll continue growing into fresh lettuce and herbs that can be enjoyed right here at school.
It’s exciting to see learning come to life while growing healthy food for our students. 🌿✨

Our amazing Ezra Eby Food Service staff are rolling out their next clever cafeteria theme…
🔎 #ISPYDR.SEUSSVIBES
Students will spot some fun, colorful, and creative touches inspired by the imaginative world of Dr. Seuss while they enjoy their meals. It’s another great way our staff helps make reading month exciting across the whole school!
Thank you to our food service team for always adding a little extra creativity and fun for our students. 💚

On April 15, 2026 we are hosting a catered brunch and required activities for all seniors from 9:30-11:30AM.
These are the activities/stations we have planned for seniors to complete that day:
- FAFSA (Graduation Requirement): Completion assistance or OPT-OUT with Mr. Rodriguez
- Early College: 13th year Commitment or Opt-out with EC staff
- Senior Decision Day Banners: Photos & Info Needed! We are creating Senior -Decision Day Banners to celebrate your post-high school plans! These banners will be hung in the school cafeteria and will remain on display until after Awards Night on May 26, 2026.
What We WILL Need From you on April 15, 2026:
Your Decision Info: At the Senior Banner Table you should provide the college you are attending, your planned career (or simply "workforce"), or the military service branch you are joining by entering your response on a digital spreadsheet.
Your Photo: Submit a high-quality senior photo NOW to the Yearbook if you haven't already. We will review all yearbook photos (prior to April 15) to ensure they can be enlarged for your banner without pixelating. Send Pictures to Liz.hampton@napoleonschools.org with the subject "Senior Picture."
Photo Quality & The Senior Banner Station:
Notifications: We will try to let you know in advance if your photo is missing or unusable due to pixelation.
Banner Station: If you arrive at the Senior Banner Station without a usable photo, you will need to submit a higher-quality file immediately, or we will take a new picture of you against a neutral background.
*After these things are completed, you can make your way to the Cap and Gown table to get your cap and gown.
Other Stations in the library we will have as a bonus:
*Table for Napoleon Scholarships (all will be due this day).
*Service Branch Members and possibly some employers for those of you that are undecided.
If you have more questions please contact Mrs. King at kim.king@napoleonschools.org. We thank you for making this day a special one for our Seniors!
