The winner of our $50 gift card for raising the most money was 5th grader, Elizabeth Lawrence. She raised $320.00.
The spare change war was amazing and brought in well over $600 for our team!
The first place classroom was Mrs. Latocki —her class brought in $198.75 and they have earned a pizza party lunch!!
The second place classroom was Mrs. John’s—her class brought in $191.32 and they have earned an ice-cream party!!
Third place goes to Mrs. Jennings—-her class brought in $181.50 and they have earned $25 towards some books for their classroom!!
We would also like to thank our 5th Grade Student Council members for collecting money each morning and putting up sneakers in the hallway.

Kindergarten through second grade students had a chance to learn about germs and the importance of hand washing from Ian Shaw, a Jackson County Health Department employee. They looked for signs of germs on their hands using a blue light device to spot them. It was an eye opening experience that encouraged good hygiene.
