Elementary, Middle School, and High School students gathered at the flag pole to honor Veterans on Friday, November 10, 2023 for our annual Veteran's Day Celebration. Thank you to all of the Veterans who participated. We appreciate your service.

It's Kindness Month at Eby! All the classes are participating in a kindness challenge to see who can grow the longest paper chain in the month of November. Each loop classes earn is because of an act of kindness their teacher witnessed. Thank you Mrs. Upham for organizing this challenge!


Eby wants to wish all the NHS Cross Country Runners good luck today at the State Meet! Mrs. McLain will be there to cheer her daughter Lauren on. Best of Luck! Go Pirates!


Story Fest came to Eby this week! Anne Walkowe from JDL introduced Robin Nott, who played music and shared interactive stories with students in Y5/K-3 grades. Eby students were amazing listeners!



In Mexico and other countries in Latin America, Día de muertos is a time of remembrance for family members, friends, and pets who have died.
Napoleon Spanish students made traditional sugar skulls and masks for Día de muertos and showed off their artistic skills in the process. ¡Muy bien hecho, Piratas! (Very well done, Pirates!)

On November 7, 2023 our community will have an opportunity to vote on a school bond proposal. If approved by voters, this bond proposal would provide $17,400,000 for district-wide improvements, with a Zero Mill increase over the current millage rate. This bond proposal, which will not increase the tax levy, will provide improvements for academic, athletic, extracurricular and community activities.


Congratulations to Senior Madison Breining for busily applying to Central Michigan, Davenport University, Grand Valley State University, Saginaw Valley University, Western Michigan University, Ferris State, and Wayne State! Eby is hosting a JDRF walk this Friday, October 20th at 2:20 pm on our track on the playground. It is also our last Hat Day. Students can bring a $1 and wear a hat. Help us reach our goal of $3000..

Ms. Marosi's first grade friends made some Crocodiles from the Nile.


Eby students have been collecting coins and donations for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) . We are half way to our goal and only one week left so send in those coins and sneakers! The collection will end next Friday, October 20th with a walk in the afternoon. Teachers are donating money each week to wear jeans!


4th Grade students worked on coding their LEGO robots this week with Shoprats in the STEM Lab!


Eby classrooms decorated pumpkins this week to donate to Napoleon High School's American Cancer Society Chapter to be raffled off at the football game this Friday, October 13th. You can buy tickets at the game to show your support and win a pumpkin!


NCS and our community has been dedicated to providing stronger safety measures and greater instructional opportunities students for many years.
The NOV 7th, 2023 bond proposal, which WILL NOT increase the tax levy, will provide improvements for academic, athletic, extracurricular and community activities. The proposed projects are geared towards addressing current and future students needs, while responsibility maintaining and prolonging the life of each school building.
