We know everyone wants our student's or parent's as they meet their child at the bus stop to be safe. Here is your refresher course:
Yellow blinking lights mean the driver is preparing to stop to drop off a student.
Red blinking lights mean a CHILD is unloading and possibly crossing the road.
Our drivers see students and adults run our lights daily! Don’t let this be you or your young driver. If you are the parents of young drivers, please explain to them what the yellow blinking lights and red blinking lights on a school bus mean.
We do our best to be punctual while maintaining the safety of our students. Students should also be at the appropriate area by at least 5 minutes before their scheduled pickup time. Weather, traffic, driver absenteeism, maintenance difficulties, and unforeseen incidents are often responsible if there is a delay in the arrival of school buses in the morning or afternoon. On the rare occasion that any of these things occur we will do our best to keep families informed. Your patience is appreciated.
Our transportation team works tirelessly to ensure that routes are timely, efficient, and safe for our students. We appreciate your support. Go Pirates!
