Eby kicks off March is Reading Month with the theme "Rescue a Good Book". Napoleon Township Fire Department supplied a firefighter uniform and Fire Pup costume to use during an assembly on Friday which both Napoleon Police and Fire attended sharing with students how they use reading and writing in their work and what they like to read for enjoyment. A big thank you to all the chiefs and officers that attended the event.

“It’s a positive district. It’s a district that takes a lot of pride in education,” Graham said.

Yes, you read that title right… Napoleon Musical is proud to present URINETOWN: the Musical! Our incredibly talented students in the cast and crew have been hard at work for several weeks, and are excited to open the show next weekend. We’d love to see you there!
Show times:
Friday 2/14 and Saturday 2/15, 7:00 PM
Sunday, 2/16, 2:00 PM
Tickets: $10 for adults, $5 for students
*Please note that this is a PG-13 show*
So what is this show about?
In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage caused by a 20-year drought has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides that he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!
Winner of three Tony Awards, three Outer Critics Circle Awards, two Lucille Lortel Awards and two Obie Awards, Urinetown is a hilarious musical satire of the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, environmental collapse, privatization of natural resources, bureaucracy, municipal politics, and musical theatre itself! Hilariously funny and touchingly honest, Urinetown provides a fresh perspective on one of America's greatest art forms.
