Co-ed Basketball where kids have the opportunity to learn to play organized basketball. Players will focus on basketball basics, and have the opportunity to play with teammates. There are no steals. Players will learn to dribble, pass, shoot, and defend. This is a learning opportunity for players who are new to basketball.
As we have done the past few years, we will be separating Y5 & K from 1st & 2nd Grade players. Both divisions will be co-ed and will follow the same rules, but they will be split by grade level. Based on the number of players signed up in each group we will determine the number of teams and what times games will be played.
When: Practices and games are held on Saturday’s. There is no week day time commitment for players or families. Teams will practice for 15 minutes, followed by a timed game, volunteer coaches will teach skills and be the acting officials during the games.
Dates: 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, and 2/21
Cost: $25 -> All players will get a t-shirt
