8th Grade Job Shadowing
THURSDAY APRIL 27,2023
The 8th grade students will have the opportunity to participate in Job Shadowing/Take your student to work day this year. This will take place on Thursday April 27,2023. We are asking that all parents/guardians of 8th grade students make arrangements to have your child job shadow you or another person for that day. The job shadowing experience would involve the student following the adult around during their normal workday, learning what the job involves, and some realities of the world of work. Sine we would like for the students to experience a different environment, students will not be allowed to job shadow in Napoleon Middle School
Prior to April 27th, a parent or legal guardian must fill out the permission form stating where the student will be and who they will be with. The parent or legal guardian must sign this form. The job shadowing experience will count as a student field-trip day if the student returns the permission slip and a completed job shadowing questionnaire on time.
Students who do not attend job shadowing will have a normal day of school on April 27th. This should be a rewarding and educational experience for all 8th graders. Please allow them the opportunity to experience the world of work on Thursday April 27th. The completed form needs to be returned no later that Wednesday April 26, 2023.
