We are pleased to announce that Ezra Eby Elementary School was the winner of the $2500.00 prize for the Revved Up For Reading Program sponsored by Subway and M.I.S.  The check was presented at the School Board Meeting on Monday, May 14th, and the funds will be used to purchase library books and Accelerated Reader supplies for our Library.  Congratulations Eby Students!

Dear Parents of Seniors,

The Project Graduation committee would like to inform you of the Project Graduation Lock-In to be held after graduation on June 3rd at the Jackson YMCA.  The Lock-In willl run from 10:00 p.m. Sunday until 5:00 a.m. Monday, June 4th.  Please encourage your graduate to participate as this will be the last time the Class of  2012 will be together. 

The graduates will be able to swim, rock climb and play racketball.  There will also be a photo booth, psychic, food, prizes and more. Bussing is provided and there is no cost to the graduates.  Sign-ups will be conducted during lunch hours so ask your graduate if they have signed up.  Help us keep our graduates safe!

The committee is in need of food and beverage donations.  Donations can be dropped off at the Honors Reception on Wedesday, May 30th.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call Ann Vinson at 517-812-0437.  Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.

The Middle School will be awarded with the 2012 Education Excellence Award on Wednesday, May 9 at Eagle Eye Golf Club in Bath, MI.

This award is based on the Pirateers Program started in 2009.  Middle School staff and students founded this peer-to-peer support group initially to provide social support to students with autism.  It has grown from there and now has expanded to include students with a variety of disabilities at both the middle school and high school.

Congratulations to all the teachers and students who have worked hard to make this program a success!

Ezra Eby Elementary is having open registration for 2012/2013 Kindergarten.  Please come to the office between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to fill out your child's registration paperwork.  Please bring a certified Birth Certificate, your child's Immunization Record, and 2 proofs of residency.  Children must be 5 years old on or before December 1st.
