I am writing to let you know that you are registered for the 2025 FALL Term at Jackson College that begins Monday, August 25th, 2025.
1st seven week classes: August 25th – October 14th, 2025
2nd seven week classes: October 22nd – December 13th, 2025
--NEW JCEC Students in FYS 110 Dates:
1st half of the term: September 2nd – October 14th, 2025
2nd half of the term: October 22nd – December 13th, 2025
--Please check the following and be sure you are ready to start out this new year, and the new term successfully!
Here are some helpful tips:
JetStream:
This shows what you are registered for, the dates, and location. Login with your JC email and password – Click on the Student Planning Tab – Go to my Plan and Schedule – Click on Meeting Information. You will see the dates and times for each of your classes. If the class says ‘Internet based’ for the location this means online.
Email
– This is your JC email where instructors and staff at Jackson College will be communicating to you. To access your email click the word ‘Logins’ at the top right hand corner of the Jackson College homepage of the website. Click on the word
- Click on ‘High School International Student Email. Login with your JC email address and password.
CANVAS COURSES
– This is the online venue for your course(s). The instructor will post the syllabus and announcements in this platform. Make sure to login the 1st day! The online platform is referred to as Canvas.
Free Online Tutoring offered for your class:

First seven letters of your last name
First seven letters of your first name
Your middle initial (Some may not have a middle initial or did not include it)
Sample name: Jane Sue Doe
Username sample: doejanes
Your Email Address: doejanes@my.jccmi.edu
Password:
First letter of your first name capitalized
First letter of your last name lower case
Day of birth
Last two numbers of your year of birth
Last four numbers of your Jackson College Student Id#
Sample Demographics: Birthdate 01-03-1997 Student ID sample: 0123456
Password Sample: Jd03973456
Your Student ID: (You can look this up in JetStream)

Are you having any Tech Concerns? READ BELOW, THIS WILL FIX IT
If you password is not working and you know that the information is correct – It is likely expired. The college requires everyone to change their password every 4 months for cyber security purposes.
Please follow these steps to change your password:
Navigate to:

Click ‘Password Assistance’
Using the Login field, login with your username and current (expired) password.
Username is only the first seven letters of your first name, first seven letters of your last name and middle initial (if you have or used a middle initial) DO not include the whole JC email address. EXAMPLE: wittjamiea
Update your password when prompted.
Setup security questions if/when prompted.

Extra Layer of Security for JetStream & Canvas – Set up Authentication
When trying to login to Canvas or JetStream, it will ask for autentication.
Directions – Grab Your Cell Phone

Type in the code that is sent to your phone
