Please join us in congratulating our incredible School Resource Officer, Officer Tom Freeman of the Napoleon Township Police Department, on successfully graduating from the Michigan State Police TEAM School Liaison Program, alongside 25 other officers from across Michigan!
The TEAM program is a school-based, law-related curriculum designed for students in grades K–12 and taught by specially trained law enforcement officers. The program brings together educators, students, and law enforcement to help young people make safe, informed decisions and protect themselves from crime.
As part of the intensive 40-hour training, officers receive instruction in student and juvenile psychology, classroom management, and public speaking. The curriculum covers important topics such as personal safety, how to call 911, the law and you, and dating violence, while also addressing today’s evolving school safety concerns, including:
• School safety and security
• Bullying and harassment
• Cybercrime and social media
• Illicit drugs and vaping
• Facility safety assessments

🚧 Exciting progress is happening at the athletic complex!
Last Friday, following Eby Field Day, work officially began on the track replacement project. The new polyurethane surface is expected to be installed and painted by the end of June, bringing a fresh new look and feel to our facilities.
We can’t wait to see our Pirate athletes, students, and community enjoy the upgraded track this fall!!

Ezra Eby upper elementary students participated in field day on Friday, May 29th, 2026. A big thank you to Mr.Marvin for organizing the day and to Mrs. Norman and 8th grade students for helping with all the events.

There will be three vacant seats for the next school year on the Board of Education. The election will be November 3rd, new members will take their official seats after December 31st. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact, support our students and staff, and help shape the future of Pirate Nation! 💚🏴☠️
Community members who are passionate about education, leadership, and serving our schools are encouraged to get involved.

On Friday, May 22, 2026 Eby 4th graders participated in the annual Eby State Fair where they showcased their state projects after learning about all 50 states.
