We wanted to thank our Hall of Fame inductees for joining us at the Varsity Football game last night. It was a great opportunity for us to celebrate some former student athletes, and we are proud of our inaugural class. We are looking forward to building the Hall of Fame into something special, and something our community can be proud of!
To end the evening, our Varsity Football team beat Columbia Central 22-13, to win The Jug for the 4th year in a row.

> If you are going to dual-sport this Fall, your contracts need to be signed and completed before the first day of practice. Communicate with your parents and coaches.
> Reminder that everyone needs a current physical dated on or after April 15, 2024. You cannot practice if you do not have a physical. You should be communicating with your coaches for practice schedules.

For the first time in over 20 years Napoleon Softball will look a little different. Head Coach Doug Richardson has made the decision to step away from coaching. During his tenure our Softball program won 5 Conference Championships, 11 District Championships, 4 Regional Championships, and finished State Runner-Up once. You could always count on Doug's teams to be well coached, competitive, and tough. He raised the expectations for the softball program and made every effort to play championship softball. We appreciate everything he has given back to our student athletes, thank him for everything he invested into Napoleon Softball, and wish him the best of luck moving forward.
Coach Jeff Mohr has decided to step down as the Varsity Baseball Coach at Napoleon High School. Coach Mohr will remain on staff as a teacher in the district. Jeff was the leader of the program for 15 years and won 3 Conference Championships, 2 District Championships, and 1 Regional Championship. Coach Mohr brought stability and consistency to the program. He was a positive influence on the young men who went through the Baseball program, and always wanted the best for his players. Thank you for everything you have given to the Baseball program, and we look forward to still seeing you in the district.
**Fall Athletes (Middle School & High School)**
You need a current physical on file to participate when the season officially begins. Official practice for High School Fall sports is Monday (8/12). If you do not have a current physical on file, you will be not be able to practice. Current physicals must be dated on or after April 15, 2024. If you have questions about summer schedules or practice schedules, communicate with your coaches. If you have questions about physicals, contact tom.johns@napoleonschools.org or call 517-905-5718.
Middle School Fall sports will officially begin on Monday (8/26). Teams may have voluntary workouts prior to that start date.

We were scheduled to have a technician come service the fitness center door on 6/20, and they were not able to get here. That appointment has been moved to tomorrow 6/25. Hopefully our fitness center door issues will be fixed soon.
**Fitness Center**
Good afternoon,
We know that we are having issues with the fitness center door. Sometimes the card reader is active, and sometimes it is not active. When the light is completely off the card reader is not working. If the card reader is "red", it is active and working. If your card does not unlock the door while it is "red" you should see if you renewed your card. We have a record of everyone who has renewed their card for 23-24. If you have renewed your card and it does not unlock the door, your card may have expired. We can check on that as well. Please send any follow up questions to tom.johns@napoleonschools.org.
We would ask that you are patient while we try and solve the problem. We have to work with the Jackson ISD to resolve the issues. Do not leave the door propped open.
