Napoleon Community Schools is committed to providing quality opportunities for all students, including a wide range of extracurricular activities. We recognize that some student-athletes possess the talent, dedication, and desire to contribute to more than one team during a single athletic season—and that both teams can benefit from their participation.
In support of this belief, the NCS Board of Education has approved dual sport participation at Napoleon High School. Participating as a dual sport athlete does not mean students will double their practice or competition time. Rather, student-athletes will divide their time between a designated primary sport and a secondary sport, following a structured plan that supports both their well-being and team commitments.
A Dual Sports Contract outlining the expectations, guidelines, and responsibilities is available below and can also be obtained from the high school office. Prior to participation, the contract must be signed by the student’s parent(s)/guardian(s), both head coaches, and receive final approval from Athletic Director, Mr. Jeff Conway.
All parties involved in the agreement must determine that dual sport participation is in the best educational and athletic interest of the student-athlete.
For additional information or questions, please contact Mr. Conway at jeff.conway@napoleonschools.org or (517) 905-5791.
