The Jerry Glassel Music Scholarship
A $500 scholarship for up to four Jackson County high school students to improve musical ability. May be used toward college expenses, camp tuition, private instruction, equiptment, etc. Applications available in the Guidance office or by visiting the website (click on link in title) AVAILABLE TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS - GRADES 9-12

KIWANIS CLUB OF BROOKLYN
Seniors who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply for this scholarship:
Minimum 3.0 GPA, Service to school and community, Acceptance to a 2 or 4-yr school, or trade school
Completed Application, and a One page essay on the topic: Community Service and What Helping Others Means To Me
The scholarship will be paid to the student upon completion of the first semester. Pick up an application in the guidance office.

Current Surfaces, Inc. - Track Athlete Scholarship

Michigan State Troopers Assistance Fund
Offers 20 scholarships in the amount of $1000.00 each to eligible students. Awards are based on acheivements; Not based on financial need. Must have minimum 3.25 GPA, Service to the community, and Demonstrate leadership.

Gordon Will Opportunity Scholarship-Optimist Club of Jackson
The Optimist Club of Jackson will award a $2000 Scholarship to two deserving graduates, one male and one female student

AEROQUIP CREDIT UNION
Aeroquip Credit Union is currently accepting applications for their 2010 Scholarship. The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize Aeroquip Credit Union members who have shown scholastic excellence and who are interested in advancing their education. They will award one $1,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior.

SIGMUND FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Up to $5,000 in renewable scholarships are available for students who are from Jackson or Lenawee Counties, have been accepted to a college or university, have proof of financial need, have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and have completed FAFSA.

The American Legion Auxiliary offers multiple scholarship opportunities for seniors whose parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, ect. had served in WWI, WWII, the Korean Conflict, Vietnam Hostilities, Grenada and Lebanon Hostilities, Panama Hostilities, or the Persian Gulf. MICHIGAN OIL AND GAS PRODUCERS EDUCATION FOUNDATION
Seniors who have been accepted to a Michigan university or community college, have at GPA of 3.0 or higher, have demonstrated financial need, and are perusing a degree in an area that will allow them to work in the crude oil and natural gas industry can apply for scholarships starting at $500.

Two, $1000.00 scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate excellence in academics and community service. Students must be a member of EECU. To become a member, you must live, work, worship or attend school in Jackson, Branch, Eaton, Ingham, Livingston, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw, Hillsdale, Lenawee or Wayne County. Applicants must be full-time graduating high school seniors with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
